If you wish to escape from the city, you can get to the beaches of San Juan and Albufereta by TRAM (lines 1-3-4) or by bus (lines 21-22) and to the beach of Saladares-Urbanova taking bus number 27

The province is famous for the quality of its leather goods and its gastronomy, including canned specialties, typical salted fish and origin wines. Traditional products consumed daily in many Alicante homes are also well-known: chocolate, dates, nougat, and traditional ice cream.
