Exhibition: “Agua Escrita” by Rosa Juanco
Location: Exhibition Hall, Lonja del Pescado, Paseo Almirante Julio Guillén Tato, Alicante.
Agua Escrita by artist Rosa Juanco, in collaboration with poet Fernando Beltrán, explores a deep dialogue between image and word, combining photography, painting, and poetry. The exhibition is divided into three sections — Charcos y ballenas, Sé por fin que ya llegas, and El azul no es azul — using the metaphor of puddles as poetic symbols of what remains after the rain, as places of return and reflection.
Inspired by avant-garde movements, the project began with an earlier version shown at the University of Oviedo and BBVA Foundation, and aims to use art to reach a transformative final truth or word. Hosted in the Sala Luceros, this exhibition is a continuation of the artists’ long-standing collaboration, recognized for its ability to emotionally engage viewers through a unique visual and sensory poetics.
