Baroque concert in the Renaissance cistern of Santa Bárbara Castle
Concert by the Aresti Duo, formed by Antonio Pérglez and Coro Hernández, complementing the exhibition ‘From Words to Music’. The concert, entitled ‘18th-century music for two cellos’, will feature some of the musical instruments included in the exhibition. The programme chosen represents a journey through 18th-century music via various duets, most of them composed by leading cellists of the period who devoted much of their work to this instrument.
The performance will take place in the Renaissance Cistern (Baluarte de Santa Ana) of the fortress. Admission is free until full capacity is reached.
