Gastro Lunches
The Valencian Community Hospitality and Tourism Confederation (CONHOSTUR) — through its members ASHOTUR, FEHV, and APEHA, and in collaboration with Turisme Comunitat Valenciana and the Alicante Tourism Board — invites citizens to take part in the third edition of “Gastro Lunches”, to be held from September 25 to October 5, 2025.
This initiative celebrates the esmorzar, a deeply rooted Valencian culinary tradition, highlighting local gastronomy through creative dishes based on local products.
Participating establishments must offer a complete lunch menu, including classic shared starters (peanuts, pickles, salads), a main dish (such as a sandwich, coca, stew), and the essential “cremaet” or carajillo, showcasing the craft of local baristas. Lunch service must be offered between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
All establishments will be listed in the „Gastro Lunches Guide of the Valencian Community 2025“, a bilingual (Spanish–English) tourism publication promoting the unique flavors of each region, supported by Turisme Comunitat Valenciana – L’Exquisit Mediterrani.
