SICTED Quality

The Integral System of Spanish Tourist Quality in Destinations (SICTED) is a project focused on the continuous improvement of tourist destination quality promoted by the State Secretariat for Tourism (SETUR), with the support of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP). In the Valencian Community, the project is led and coordinated by Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, through Qualitur.

Alicante, committed to quality, joined SICTED in 2013, with the Alicante Municipal Board of Tourism and Beaches being the managing entity of the destination’s project.

The “Tourist Quality Commitment” badge accredits and recognizes the effort made by the participating tourist services.

Over one hundred and twenty tourism services in Alicante have earned this badge and continuously work to improve their services, showcase the best of our city, and ensure that tourists and visitors enjoy an unforgettable stay in a high-quality destination.
