Summer of comedy at the Teatro Principal in Alicante
Within the summer programming at Alicante’s Teatro Principal, humor takes center stage from July to September. Specifically, the Alicante coliseum has scheduled two performances to bid farewell to summer that will provoke laughter.
On Thursday the 4th, at 8:30 p.m., and on Friday, September 5th, at 9:00 p.m., Facu Díaz and Miguel Maldonado present their new show, „Quieto todo el mundo.“ Current events rule, and they proceed to tear them apart in this weekly program aimed at digital viewing but which has already become a show worth seeing live. After 10 years of working together, they have put themselves in the hands of a printer, from which the most important news of the week appear (or not) to be analyzed improvised with the utmost rigor, absolute ignorance, and a constant search for laughter.
On Saturday, September 6, at 8:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., Raúl Antón presents „Hay más tontos que ventanas“ (There Are More Fools Than Windows). A funny satire about our evolution as a society: from those days with a fool in every town to this digital present full of viral nonsense. Tradition vs. Modernity, filtered through Antón’s wit. A night of laughter with a mirror.
On Sunday, September 7, at 6:30 p.m., Andreu Casanova returns with his hit „Tinder Surprise,“ a comic safari through the jungle of dating apps. It doesn’t matter if you’re single, married, or „it’s complicated“: everyone will learn something here (and laugh a lot more). With spicy anecdotes and uncomfortable truths, Casanova will teach you how to match with humor.
