Europe Day Celebrations in Alicante – EUIPO Open Day

Dates: 9 and 10 May 2026

Venue: EUIPO Headquarters (Avenida de Europa, 4, 03008 Alicante) and various locations across the municipality.

To mark Europe Day, the EUIPO invites all residents of Alicante and visitors to take part in a special programme of activities designed to commemorate this date.

Open Day

The central event will be the Open Day at the EUIPO Headquarters on 9 May, where attendees can explore the Euro-agency’s facilities firsthand, discover its daily operations, and learn about the importance of intellectual property in a dynamic and educational environment.

Activities:

  • Guided tours of the office and activities open to the public.

  • Exhibitions related to intellectual property, including authentic and counterfeit products.

  • Children’s activities.

  • Information stands on professional opportunities in Europe, how to protect your ideas, or the relationship between intellectual property and artificial intelligence; music, and much more.

Important Information for Attendees:

  • A free shuttle bus service will be provided every 15 minutes from Plaza de los Luceros, starting at 10:00 am with returns available until 3:00 pm

Europe Day Concert

A concert organised in collaboration with the ADDA Simfònica Foundation and the Alicante Provincial Council Auditorium, performed by the ADDA Simfònica, and featuring the Amici Musicae choir from Zaragoza as guest performers.

Beach Volleyball Tournament

A volleyball tournament at San Juan Beach to celebrate Europe Day with family and friends.
