
8TH MARCH: WOMEN’S DAY.
Alicante City Council has organised a full schedule of activities to commemorate 8M, the main event of which will be the institutional event to be held on 7 March at 12.00 noon in the Blue Room of the City Hall. The event will be attended by three leading women in their professional fields, who will tell their stories: Nuria Pla Villena, technical director of the Volleyball Federation of the Valencian Community; Laura Banon Candela, head of projects at Siemens, and María Teresa Gordero Arias-Arguello, head of Equity at Aguas Municipalizadas de Alicante;
After the institutional act, the banner commemorating International Women’s Day will be unfurled.
