Swimming channel "Serra Grossa"

The permanent swimming channel “Serra Grossa”, located at the Albufereta Beach, is the longest in Spain, with 2,000 meters marked off in a beautiful natural setting. Its calm waters and the area’s favorable climate make it an ideal spot for open-water swimming all year round. The channel starts and ends right at Albufereta Beach, offering a safe and accessible environment for both professional athletes and amateurs. Its route along the coast, facing Serra Grossa, allows swimmers to enjoy the sea in a well-adapted space, making it a national and international reference for this sport.
Alicante thus strengthens its tourist offer with a highly valuable sports attraction, where sea and sport become protagonists.
