6th Great Mediterranean Race Alicante – Santa Pola
On Sunday, November 9, 2025, the 6th Great Mediterranean Race 21K will take place — a half marathon full of spectacular views linking Alicante with Santa Pola along an unforgettable coastal route.
The start line is on Avenida de la Estación, in front of the Alicante Provincial Government Palace, and the final stretch will take runners to the finish line by the sea, at Varadero Beach in Santa Pola.
Participants will run along sandy beaches and seafront promenades such as Urbanova, Arenales del Sol, and the Santa Pola Lighthouse — all with blue flags and sea breezes guaranteed!
This event is included in the National Calendar of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation. It is organized by the Alicante Provincial Council and the Montemar Athletics Club, with the collaboration of the Alicante City Council, among other institutions and organizations.
