I Elche-Alicante International Marathon 42

Start time and location: From the vicinity of Altamira Palace, Elche

Route:

• Total: 42.195 km (standard marathon)

• Start in Elche (80 m above sea level)

• Urban section of Elche: 11 km

• Interurban section Elche-Alicante: 20 km (mostly downhill)

• Urban section of Alicante: 11 km

• Finish line at Muelle 12 in the port of Alicante (Ocean Race zone, sea level)

Medals: Incorporating the silhouettes of the Lady of Elche and the Face of the Moor. Back with space to engrave name and time

Participation:

• More than 3,500 registered participants from more than 40 countries

• Registration open until 5,000 runners are reached

Regional Marathon Championship:

• It will compete during this event

• Official calendar of the Valencian Community Athletics Federation from June 10, 2025

• Replaces the regional championship event held at the Valencia Marathon
