Accessible Beach Areas
The Alicante Municipal Board of Tourism and Alicante City & Beach are continuously working to ensure that Alicante’s beaches are inclusive and accessible for people with functional, intellectual, and/or sensory diversity.
These permanent facilities are available at San Juan, El Postiguet, and Saladares-Urbanova beaches and offer recreational and educational services for people with functional diversity and bathroom assistance services for people with reduced mobility during the summer season.
The Tabarca Island Beach also has a point for accompaniment and bathroom assistance services for people with reduced mobility during the summer.
