Alicante celebrates the third edition of La millor tapeta del món, a gastronomic event that combines tradition and innovation through tapas, the emblem of Alicante cuisine. From 15 to 23 September, renowned chefs from across the province will offer live show cooking with free tastings, as part of the Alicante Spanish Capital of Gastronomy 2025 programme.

Organised by Alicante City Council, the Costa Blanca Tourist Board and the Provincial Association of Hospitality Entrepreneurs of Alicante (APEHA), this event aims to position Alicante as a benchmark for gastronomic tourism.

Finca de Santa Luzia (Sant Joan d’Alacant)
Mini cannelloni with stewed pork cheeks, boletus mushrooms and foie gras
16 September
Restaurante Alfonso Mira (Aspe)
Panettone with smoked butter, anchovies and herring roe
Panettone with ice cream (Raúl Asencio)
17 September
Restaurante Cassana (Castalla)
Cod meatballs with pericana and chef’s sauce
22 September
Paco Baile Restaurant (Santa Pola)
Aubergine cannelloni with mushrooms and foie gras
23 September
La Mar de Bien Restaurant (Torrevieja)
Free-range chicken croquette with crispy pork crackling and its juices, on a liver pâté.

NOTES:

The tapas will be served at the end of each showcooking session.
Admission is free and open to the public, subject to capacity.
The event will be held in the Cerca kitchens, located on the ground floor of the Central Market.
