La Millor Tapeta del Món (The Best Tapita in the World) is an initiative that highlights the tradition and creativity of local gastronomy through the tapa, an icon of Spanish culinary culture.

Its goal is to promote and showcase the rich gastronomy of the province of Alicante through a competition that brings together various restaurants and catering professionals, encouraging creativity, innovation, and culinary excellence in tapas creation. Additionally, the event aims to give visibility to participating establishments, foster local food culture, and position Alicante’s gastronomy as a benchmark for quality and diversity.
