Guided tour of the exhibition ‘From Words to Music’ at Santa Bárbara Castle

Santa Bárbara Castle invites you to take a journey through history with a selection of musical instruments from the 16th to the 20th centuries, including Renaissance psalteries, Baroque pianos and one of the oldest preserved guitars in the world.

The exhibition will be open to visitors in the Taberna Room of Santa Bárbara Castle until January 2026 and also includes a programme of four concerts featuring some of the instruments, which will be held in the castle’s cistern. The next concert will take place on Saturday 4 October at 7 p.m. in the Renaissance Cistern.

Admission is free until full capacity is reached, both for the guided tour of the exhibition and the concert.
