Club Atlético Montemar celebrates the VI “Carmen Perea” Senior Tournament
From August 25th to 29th, 2025, Club Atlético Montemar will resume its foray into international tennis tournaments for veterans (ages 30 and over) with the VI Carmen Perea TF Senior Tennis Tournament. This initiative launched in 2019 with notable success and which continues to grow in participation year after year. This year’s edition maintains the MT400 category, which means greater appeal for players, especially those traveling from all over Europe.
The ITF (International Tennis Federation) or ITF World Tennis Masters Tour tournaments form a World Circuit aimed at veteran players from 30 to 85 years old, which seeks to offer veteran amateur players a quality competitive experience. A high level of tennis is not required to enjoy this experience. The circuit typically reaches 550 tournaments in 70 different countries, achieving a total of 35,380 registered players, representing a significant impact on tennis.
REGISTRATION
Registration is available through the International Tennis Federation (ITF) website https://ipin.itftennis.com and is open to any player over 30 years of age who has an IPIN (an international license that can be processed through this link). The registration deadline is Tuesday, August 19th at 10:00 a.m.
Individual registration costs €60 plus €10 for the IPIN, but Montemar members will enjoy a nearly 20% discount, i.e., a €50 registration fee plus €10 for the IPIN, instead of the official €60, with the option to register for three different events (singles, one doubles, and consolation). The registration fee for Doubles-only play is €42 for one doubles and €10 for the IPIN, and €47 for two doubles and €10 for the IPIN.
Payment for the registration fee and the IPIN fee is made at the tournament office tent before the first match.
