Christmas Activities in Alicante’s Squares, Markets and Fairs

The Department of Commerce, Hospitality, Consumer Affairs and Markets of Alicante City Council, together with the city’s commercial associations, is launching a programme of 20 festive activation days to revitalise local businesses and offer residents and visitors a joyful experience across the city’s neighbourhoods, squares, markets and municipal market halls.

Under the slogan “The Christmas That Smiles the Most”, the campaign will run from 12 to 30 December, with morning and afternoon activities including Christmas workshops, entertainment, shows, music, photocalls, games, virtual reality experiences, and visits from Santa Claus and his Elves.

The programme has been coordinated with local traders to strengthen commercial activity during this festive period, encourage shopping in local stores, and promote exploring the city’s streets and squares.
