Alicante Carnival 2026

Alicante celebrates Carnival with a full programme of activities for all ages, filling the city centre with music, colour and tradition. Parades, concerts, children’s shows and popular festivities make these dates one of the most eagerly awaited celebrations of the year.

The festivities feature an extensive programme of events organised by the Carnival Board ‘La Meka’ and Alicante City Council, running from 12 to 22 February. Highlights include the correfocs and concert on Thursday 12 February, the Carnival Proclamation on Friday 13 in Plaza del Carmen, and a packed schedule of concerts, batucadas and popular celebrations during Sábado Ramblero on Saturday 14.

The celebration brings together tradition, music, family-friendly activities and a strong charitable spirit, offering an unforgettable experience for both residents and visitors.
