6th Great Mediterranean Race Alicante – Santa Pola

On Sunday, 9 November 2025, the 6th Great Mediterranean Race 21K will take place — a half marathon filled with spectacular views, linking Alicante and Santa Pola along an unforgettable coastal route.

The race will start on Avenida de la Estación, in front of the Alicante Provincial Council Palace, at 9:00 a.m., and finish on Varadero Beach in Santa Pola. Runners will pass sandy beaches and seaside promenades such as Urbanova, Arenales del Sol and the Santa Pola Lighthouse, surrounded by Blue Flags and sea breeze guaranteed.

The event is part of the National Calendar of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation, and is organised by the Alicante Provincial Council and Club Atlético Montemar, with the collaboration of the Alicante City Council and other institutions and organisations.
