33rd Guillermo Heras Spanish Theatre Festival of Contemporary Authors music player
Alicante hosts a new edition of the Showcase of Contemporary Spanish Playwrights “Guillermo Heras” (MUTESAC), celebrating its 33rd edition under the theme “In the Flesh”.
The festival presents 16 performances across seven venues in the city —including Teatre Arniches, Las Cigarreras, Casa Mediterráneo and the Teatro Principal— featuring theatre companies from across Spain, with seven productions from the Valencian Community in support of the performing arts sector following the 2024 DANA storm.
Organised by: Ministry of Culture (INAEM), Valencian Regional Government (Institut Valencià de Cultura), Alicante Provincial Council, Alicante City Council, SGAE Foundation and Juan Gil-Albert Institute of Culture.
