To comply with the Royal Decree 1112/2018, of September 7th, on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications (hereinafter, Royal Decree 1112/2018, of September 7th), the Alicante Municipal Board of Tourism and Beaches has implemented a series of necessary changes to adapt its web portals.

  • Criterion 9 – Web Pages Requirements:

    • Audio descriptions may not be provided for all recorded video content within synchronized multimedia [requirement 10.1.2.5 Audio Description (Recorded), UNE-EN 301549:2022].
  • Criterion 11 – Software Requirements: Not applicable.
  • Criterion 12 – Documentation and Support Services Requirements: Not applicable.

B. Disproportionate Burden: Not applicable.

C. Content Outside the Scope of Applicable Legislation:

  • Office files in PDF and other formats published before September 20th, 2018, may not fully meet all accessibility requirements, although efforts have been made to ensure compliance for most.
  • Third-party content not developed by or under the control of this unit, such as images, interactive maps, videos, documents, players, etc. may be available.
  • Pre-recorded files published before September 20th, 2018, may not fully meet all accessibility requirements.
  • Portions or the entirety of the website may be created using a CMS (WordPress, Shopify, PrestaShop, etc.), which, due to updates or system changes, may result in some generated or auto-generated content not fully complying with accessibility regulations.
