I Connecting Lighthouses Swim
It will feature five distances, including a 20-kilometre swim between the lighthouses of Cabo de las Huertas and Santa Pola.

A new open-water swimming event created to mark the 125th anniversary of the establishment of the Junta de Obras del Puerto de Alicante, founded in 1901 and the origin of the current Port Authority.
The event is part of the programme of activities organised to commemorate this anniversary and aims to pay tribute to an institution that, for more than a century, has played a leading role in the economic, social and urban development of Alicante. Through this initiative, the Port Authority seeks to highlight not only the history of the port, but also its close connection with sport, maritime heritage and the local community.
The I Travesía Uniendo Faros features five courses adapted to different sporting profiles.

The competition will include a 2.5-kilometre popular distance

Intermediate courses, culminating in a 20-kilometre event, designed for open-water and ultramarathon swimming specialists. The maximum number of participants in this final event is 30 swimmers.

Finally, there is a short 1-kilometre course so that anyone who wishes can take part.
