San Juan Bonfires 2026: Bonfire Awards, Fireworks and First Session of the Flower Offering

Alicante is experiencing one of its most intense and emotional days during the Hogueras de San Juan festival.

• Date: Sunday, 21 June 2026

• Programme and Timetable:

  • 09:00: Visit by the jury to the Bonfires, the facades of the Barracas and the decorated streets.

  • 14:00: 4th Mascletá Session in the Plaza de los Luceros, set off by Pirotecnia Alto Palancia.

  • 17:00: Announcement of prizes for the bonfires, Barracas facades and decorated streets.

  • 17:30: Official visit to the bonfire that won first prize in the special category.

  • 18:00: First session of the Flower Offering to the Virgin of Remedio.

    • Official route of the Offering: Avenida de Alfonso El Sabio, Rambla de Méndez Núñez, Calle de San José, Plaza del Abad Penalva (Co-Cathedral of San Nicolás), Calle de Rafael Altamira, ending at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

  • 10.00 pm: Street parties in Barracas and the committees’ festival areas.
