New Year’s Eve in Alicante
New Year’s Eve in Alicante combines tradition, joy and a vibrant sense of communal celebration. On the night of 31 December, the junction of the Rambla and Portal de Elche transforms into a festive meeting point where locals and visitors gather to bid farewell to the year. To the rhythm of the music, attendees wait for the chimes to eat the twelve lucky grapes. The celebration continues with performances and fireworks until 4 am, welcoming the new year with energy and enthusiasm.
Children’s New Year’s Eve
So that the little ones can also enjoy the magic of the year’s end, the Children’s New Year’s Eve takes place on 31 December in the morning, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, at the junction of the Rambla and Portal de Elche. At 12 pm, a rehearsal of the New Year’s Eve chimes is held, accompanied by entertainment, a photo call, inflatables and a children’s show that fills the morning with fun.
