Recognition Ceremony “Alicante, Spanish Capital of Gastronomy 2025”

Alicante City Hall will host the institutional recognition ceremony on Monday, 24 November 2025 at 12:00 pm, in which the Royal Spanish Academy of Gastronomy and the Academy of Gastronomy of the Valencian Community will recognise the city for its designation as the Spanish Capital of Gastronomy 2025.

The ceremony will feature the Mayor of Alicante, representatives from the Academy of Gastronomy of the Valencian Community, the Royal Spanish Academy of Gastronomy, municipal authorities, as well as prominent figures from Alicante’s gastronomic sector. Attendance by invitation only.
