Official Opening of the Giant Nativity Scene in the Town Hall Square

Alicante’s Town Hall Square will host the official opening of the Giant Nativity Scene, made up of six large-format figures — Saint Joseph, the Virgin Mary, the Baby Jesus, Gaspar, Melchior and Balthazar — and recognised by the Guinness World Records. The event will take place on Sunday, 23 November, as part of a special light and sound show starting at 6:30 pm.

To mark the occasion, the Town Hall Square will become a pedestrian-only space, closing to traffic from that same day. After the Epiphany celebrations, only public transport, taxis and buses will be allowed to circulate.
