A unique experience awaits you behind closed doors in one of Alicante’s most emblematic locations. On this exclusive tour, you will explore the corners of Santa Bárbara Castle while travelling back in time through the civilisations that have marked the city’s history… but not only with your eyes: also with your palate.

During this unique experience, we combine history and gastronomy in a tour where you will not only learn about the six civilisations that have most influenced our city, but you will also discover how our ancestors lived, what they ate, how they prepared their food and what secrets their dishes held.
You will taste traditional products and selected drinks such as beer and wine, while discovering anecdotes and curiosities that are not told on a conventional tour.

• Languages: Spanish and English.
• Duration: between 1.5 and 2 hours.
• Meeting point: Patio de Armas del Castillo de Santa Bárbara (Santa Bárbara Castle courtyard).
• Starts promptly at 8:00 p.m. (Last access to the castle – by lift, shuttle bus, or on foot – at 7:40 p.m.)

Important: comfortable footwear is essential.
Tasting included (prepared food, no possibility of changing dishes).

Vehicle access is not permitted and parking nearby is often difficult. You also have the option of accessing the castle via the lift, located opposite Postiguet Beach.
