Moors and Christians festivities in the San Blas neighbourhood
FESTIVITIES PROGRAMME 2025
- Thursday, 10th July 2025:
- 08:00h – Setting up of the different festive barracks
- 22:30h – Closing of the XIV Ruta de la Tapa Festera
- 23:59h – Retreta. Starting from the Castle in front of the church along San Juan Bautista, Pintor Gisbert, General Mancha and Soto Ameno, and back to the Castle
- Friday, 11th July 2025:
- 19:30h – XI Certamen Entrada de Bandas ‘Antonio Carrillos’ (from the end of Pintor Gisbert street to the Castle)
- 20:45h – Tribute to the deceased festeros (the Cargos 2025 will lay a laurel wreath to San Blas in memory of the absent festeros). Then the Hymn of San Blas will be performed from the castle
- 22:00h – Festive dinner in the different barracks
- 23:00h – Parade nit de L’Olla (Itinerary: from the Castle, Soto Ameno, General Mancha and Pintor Gisbert). Start of the Moorish side
- 00:00h – Festivities in the different barracks
- Saturday, 12th July 2025:
- 08:00h – Diana bando cristiano (Starting at the castle)
- 09:30h – Festive lunches in the different barracks
- 11:00h – Parades and visits to the Charges
- 13:00h – Festive baptisms (Moorish side)
- 15:00h – Festive meals in the different barracks
- 20:00h – Grand entrance Bando Cristiano. Itinerary: Baltasar Carrasco, Poeta Garcilaso, Soto Ameno, General Mancha, and Pintor Gisbert Parade order: Caballeros de Montesa (Christian Captaincy 2025), Cides, Caballeros Hospitalarios, Lucentinos, Aragoneses, Templarios, Navarros, Cántabros, Leoneses, Almogávares, Cruzados (Alferecía Cristiana 2025)
- 00h: 00h – Dinner and Feast in the different barracks
