Feast in honour of St. Nicholas

Every 6 December, Alicante pays tribute to its patron saint, Saint Nicolas, with a day full of tradition. The events begin with a solemn mass in the Co-cathedral of Saint Nicolas, followed by a procession in which the Vow of the City is renewed to the saint. To close the day, a colourful Moors and Christians parade through the historic centre, ending in the emblematic Town Hall Square, offering a spectacle full of history and culture.
