DESCRIPTION:Les Fogueres de Sant Joan (The Bonfires of Saint John) are Alicante’s main annual festivities, officially designated as being of International Tourist Interest. In the run-up to the main days of the festival (20–24 June), the city is decked out to host the traditional institutional events and the official opening speech.\nBelow is the official programme for Friday 5 June 2026, including precise timings, locations and parade routes:\nProgramme of Events – Friday, 5 June 2026\n\n\n18:30 – Música per a una Festa (Music for a Festival)\n\n\nVenue: ADDA car park (Alicante Provincial Council Auditorium), Paseo de Campoamor, s/n.\n\n\nDetails: A musical performance marking the festive and musical start of the celebrations.\n\n\n\n\n19:00 – Tribute to the Foguerers and Barraquers who have passed away\n\n\nVenue: Plaza de España, in front of the Foguerer Monument.
