DESCRIPTION:Alicante is experiencing one of its most intense and emotional days during the Hogueras de San Juan festival.\nA day that will reveal the most eagerly awaited prizes of the 2026 Hogueras de San Juan and fill the streets with tradition as the Flower Offering to the Virgin of Remedio begins.\n\n\nDate: Sunday, 21 June 2026\n\n\nProgramme and Timetable:\n\n\n09:00: Visit by the jury to the Bonfires, the facades of the Barracas and the decorated streets. \n\n\n14:00: 4th Mascletá Session in the Plaza de los Luceros, set off by Pirotecnia Alto Palancia. \n\n\n17:00: Announcement of prizes for the bonfires, Barracas facades and decorated streets. \n\n\n17:30: Official visit to the bonfire that won first prize in the special category. \n\n\n18:00: First session of the Flower Offering to the Virgin of Remedio.\n\n\nOfficial route of the Offering: Avenida de Alfonso El Sabio, Rambla de Méndez Núñez, Calle de San José, Plaza del Abad Penalva (Co-Cathedral of San Nicolás), Calle de Rafael Altamira, ending at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. \n\n\n\n\n10.00 pm: Street parties in Barracas and the committees’ festival areas.\n\n\n\n\n
