DESCRIPTION:The Lucentum archaeological site is located 3 kilometres from the city centre, in the area known as Tossal de Manises, where these archaeological remains of relevant importance are found, as a reference to the Ibero-Roman period and which belonged to the Roman city of Lucentum, the ancient Alicante. It occupies an area of 5 hectares, 2.5 of which correspond to the ancient population centre. It is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Valencian Community and is located very close to Albufereta Beach.\nOpening hours to arrange guided tours: Monday to Friday from 09:00 h. to 15:00 h.\nFor arranged visits for school groups: tel 965 149 006 from 8:00 h. to 15:00 h.\n
